As some of the people who know me already know, I used to be a writer for a couple crafts magazines. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to write professionally for myself. Although writing is very close to my heart I am a craft enthusiast! I love crafts of all COLOURS, shapes and sizes. It’s some what of a tradition for the women in my family to make clothes and presents for friends and family but, skipped a generation before me. A lot of the gifts I was given from my grandmother I still have hidden away somewhere.

As a child I was always a fiddler, when ever I got something new I had to open it up and find out how it was made, like I did with a lot of my grandmother’s jumpers she made… I always wanted to put it back together again of course.

Because I just couldn’t keep myself from finding out how to pull things apart and put them back together again I felt a very strong pull towards crafts and I guess I was always a natural as well. Following my love for the crafts and teaching them to others would also be another goal I’d like to accomplish.

Now with the experience I have as a writer I am going to be writing my own book on crochet (my true love), stay tuned for that guys.

Recently because of my writing I have left no time in my day for crocheting, (which is going to change very soon :) I really need to get back into my crocheting.

Although I have accomplished a lot of my childhood goals, it’s good that I still have a few goals that I want to accomplish. Apart from the really crazy dreams like sky diving and climbing Mount Everest I want to dedicate my life to the more important things in life like helping others and doing what I love.
